Why wonˈt my forum log in details work on the website?

The forum was terminated in favour of Facebook in 2015 so your log-in details are no longer valid.

If you wish to access the member only features of the website, you can register via the panel on the right hand side bar of the home page.

Why do I need to register / log-in to the website?

Most features of this website are available to the general public and do not require log-in. However, there are a few features that are restricted to Members Only, Currently they are:-

• Access to the membership list, which includes names, phone numbers and email addresses.
  
• Access to the volunteering process.
• Details of the CTC code for CRC members to obtain reduced cost Affiliate Membership.
• Payment of membership fees.
• Details of password for the on-line kit shop.
• Upload of pictures to the gallery.

To access these features you must first register and once approved you can use you email address and password to log-in. Please note that approval is a manual process and may take a while).

You only need to log-in to access the member only features so it is not required for the majority of your visits to the website.

How do I register for the website?

• From the home page, go to the MEMBER LOG-IN box (top right of the page) at the last line in this box click Register here.
• The box will expand, please enter the requested details in the input boxes (using the same email address that you provided for the membership list so that we are able to verify).
• Once your details have been verified you will receive an email confirming that you are now able to log-in (verification is a manual process so may take a while).
• You are then free to access the members only content of the website by logging in with your email address and password.

Why has my registration request been refused?

If you are not a Coventry Road Club member you are not eligible for registration, this is to protect the members personal details and control uploading of pictures to the gallery. Non-members are however free to view the rest of the website (no log-in required).

If you are a member and you have not had a response to your registration request, by all mean chase up the approval at web.admin@coventryroadclub.org.uk.

How do I upload pictures to the website gallery?

• First make sure that the picture for uploading is 2MB or less, larger sizes causes the hosting site to time-out and an error message will appear. Re-size the image if necessary using photo software.
• Next log-in via the MEMBER LOG-IN box, top right of the HOME page.
• This will take you to MY PAGE, the second box down on this page is the image upload facility.
• The are 4 text boxes for you to provide details of the picture, once completed click the Browse button.
• Go to the location on your PC (or phone) where you picture is stored click the picture you intend to upload.
• Once the name of the file appears next to the Browse button, click the Upload button.
• The website software automatically re-sizes the image to 600 pixels high.

When do I need to log in to the website?

You will not need to log-in for the majority of your visits to the website, only when you wish to access the members only features:-

Why does access to the membership list require log-in?

The Data Protection Act requires that the club protects the personal information of our members. For this reason members wishing to access the information are also required to agree to the terms of use.
